Prayer of the Downtown Chapel
O God of our longing, we stand at your door longing to be received as we are. We are the homeless, the searching, the mentally ill, the recovering, the young, the old, the rich and the poor. Open your generous love to all who long for you alone. Hear the prayers of our hearts; that sound from the streets and burden our lives, and relieve our hunger for hope. Through the intercession of Blessed Brother Andre, we ask your healing in the promise of Jesus, the Christ, your Son, living now and forever.
